HOLA!

haven't updated in a long while simply because well...life happens. :) the siblings are visiting town this week (leaving tomorrow) and for the first time in a whole year, we are under severe thunderstorm watch. realllly? what are the odds. we are going sightseeing and shopping in the rain. fun fun! HERE WE GO!

a day in the life...

sooo... occasionally on the weekends. (every saturday and sunday). me and my hippie friends feel the need to go garage sale-ing. hey, it beats sitting at home and every now and again the beach can get kinda old. so, we hit up craigslist late friday night to get the latest info on the latest and greatest garage sales, vintage flea markets, and street fares and...hit the town!  during our journies, we often find sparkling pieces on the side of the road, to add to my furniture collection in my new heezy. one man's trash is another man's treasure. its called being creative with a limited budget. try it.

Hello 23!

birthday number 23 came with the usual anticipation and was of course...amazing. :)  as is life.  i am excited to start a new year with a new perspective.  these days i am growing and am more aware of it than i have ever been in my life.  it's a time of change and transition and i'm learning to love it.  i don't live with extravagance, i live in extravagance.  for example, its 100 degrees in Cali and I live in a house with no air conditioning, no tv, no internet but, I'm loving on the most amazing friendships, both new and old, and making lots of happy memories as I work my booty off in the pursuit of my dreams.  Its lovely...really.  I want to document each moment to let you, the people I love but can't carry in my pocket, in on my secrets (or lack therof). stay connected and sit...indian style...'behind my eye.'
